We were on a break…But it’s time to reignite your writing

Summer is in the rear view mirror and fall is here. That often means reconnecting with our writing after taking a break. If you were on a break these past few months, I have some tips to help you transition backing into your writing with as little drama as possible.

  1. Thank you. Your comments wete very helpful. I have not been un
able to write for a while due to many family issues. I will try to write again very soon.

  2. Thanks, Lynn this message was great. I have been on a break, longer than I planned. I didn’t feel comfortable about what I planned for an ending so I kept rewriting in my mind but could not find an ending I felt comfortable with.
I was writing the story as fiction and after the second revision, I decided it wasn’t working. I will start again, write it as non-fiction, and see if that works better. I will be with our group forever.
    Thanks for your inspiration.
    Katy

I especially like the idea of rekindling my relationship with my book slowly & taking the time to get reacquainted. I’ll be listening again & taking notes.
